kianaKiana from Camillus

Kiana rides the bus every day from her home in the suburbs to Syracuse.  It’s her only source of reliable transportation.

“If I couldn’t take the bus, I wouldn’t be able to get to and from my job and I’d probably end up losing it.”

RichRich from Eastwood

Rich uses the bus to and from work each day and also to do his grocery shopping on occasion.  He says Centro is a reliable service and would like to see more service to outlying areas.

“I think it’s a great service.  I can’t afford a car right now and I don’t know what I’d do if I couldn’t take the bus to work.  I probably would have to work somewhere else.”

CENTRO Rider for six years in Utica, N.Y.

“Without Centro, I would be losing clients and that might put me out of business. I’d have to walk all over the place. CENTRO is my sole transportation. I rely on it and so do others who ride my bus. There would be more unemployment and people on social
services if we didn’t have CENTRO.”
