Transit Supportive Development and Sustainability

Public transit operators and advocates know that effective public transportation is a hallmark of a quality community. But maintaining that high quality of life – the concept of sustainability – is growing ever more challenging as we confront rising energy costs, environmental constraints and economic stagnation. Public transportation is an important tool for any livable community, but it can be particularly effective when community development and design policies require or encourage transit-friendly projects. We invite you to join us for an in-depth exploration of transit supportive development and how it can help New York’s communities sustain themselves and their quality of life.

Location: Hyatt Regency Rochester :: Rochester, NY
